Operated by Andrew Duke, Cognition Audioworks began in 1990 as a label designed to release electronic and experimental music. Duke had previously operated the now-defunct Incognito Musique and Digitalis Recordings from 1987-1990. Music has been released through Cognition Audioworks and also licensed to other labels (check out discographies and listen to audio; RealPlayer--free and easy to download--is needed to hear the sound files). Cognition Audioworks has also been involved in producing and hosting parties, plus music production through Cognition Sound and on Andrew Duke's In The Mix (weekly syndicated radio/net music show).
